Elizabeth Utley is a Hong Kong-based journalist with a background in financial and real estate reporting. She has also worked as a freelance photographer covering protests in the city, and her primary passion is social and political issues in the Asia Pacific region. Born on Canada’s west coast, Utley is fluent in French as well as English, and has been attempting to learn Cantonese through osmosis since moving to Hong Kong in 2014.
