Legacies season 2 episode 16 is coming within a few weeks on The CW, with the title "Facing Darkness Is Kinda My Thing." Josie will be the focus of this episode as she's in danger and needs to be saved. Good thing, her friends are willing to do whatever they can to help her. However, the quest to save Josie may not be an easy mission for all of them.
Legacies season 2 episode 16 will see Hope trying to save Josie by infiltrating her subconscious. But then, she finds herself in a fairytale world filled with dark magic. At the Salvatore School, Alaric, Lizzie, and the Super Squad also come up with their own risky plan in order to save Josie. However, their actions may have some potential consequences.
Although there are problems coming along the way to some of the characters, there are still a lot of interesting happenings in Legacies season 2 episode 16. What's cool here is that the production team crafts a new world with a lot of surprises. Viewers can expect some twisted and crazy stuff in the quest to save Josie. In addition, seeing Hope navigating an unfamiliar place proved to be interesting.
Meanwhile, this week's episode, titled "There's a Place Where the Lost Things Go," sees the characters in a film noir world to deal with some of their trauma. Executive producer and series creator Julie Plec told Entertainment Weekly that they're doing their first, and probably, the last noir film episode. She said that co-executive producer Brett Matthews was behind this idea since he studied noir in film school.
According to Plec, they decided to dive into the fantasy world since viewers hadn't this seen before in the series. Originally, they didn't intend to set the episode in film noir, but they ended up doing it because the location was the best fit for the episode thematically. The premise of the episode also gave the cast an opportunity to portray alternate versions of their characters.
For instance, Lizzie will become a movie star in this episode, while MG is a gumshoe detective and also the narrator. Plec said viewers will see a different version of MG in the film noir universe -- not like the bubbly charismatic guy. The good news is that viewers can watch the noir episode this Thursday night, Mar. 12, on The CW.
Meanwhile, Legacies season 2 episode 16 arrives on Mar. 26, on The CW. This episode is directed by Michael Karasick and written by Sylvia Batey Alcala and Thomas Brandon.
