An all-new intense episode awaits "Attack on Titan" Season 3 fans. In the upcoming episode, Levi (voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya) is going to clash with Kenny the Ripper (voiced by Kazuhiro Yamaji) amidst Eren (voiced by Yuki Kaji) and Historia's (voiced Shiori Mikami) abduction.
In the premiere episode of "Attack on Titan" Season 3, it was revealed that Kenny the Ripper was entrusted with bringing Eren and Historia to King Fritz. To complete the mission, the former followed Levi's squad to Trost District and asked the help of the locals to abduct Eren and Historia.
However, Kenny the Ripper's plan went awry when the locals abducted the decoys -- Jean (voiced by Kisho Taniyama) and Armin (voiced by Marina Inoue) -- instead. Enraged, he suddenly attacked the place that resulted in Nifa (voiced by Sayaka Senbongi) and Keiji's death.
Kenny the Ripper, then, taunted Levi as he stalked up the rooftop and reloaded his guns, while the latter screamed as he drew his blades to retaliate. Now, fans cannot wait for the looming battle and to know more about the notorious character.
While many fans think Levi will go head-to-head against Kenny the Ripper, others are hoping that the story will take an unexpected turn. Speculations are rife that the former would, reportedly, do whatever it takes to escape the latter.
Levi will, then, regroup with his team to inform them that their plan has been leaked and they cannot follow the hearse anymore. He, then, orders everyone to kill the enemies, while he and Mikasa (voiced by Yui Ishikawa) attack the kidnappers before Jean and Armin's disguises can be discovered.
"Kenny and Levi meet again," the preview for the upcoming second episode of "Attack on Titan" Season 3 read. "The enemy's target was Eren and Historia. In order to get them back, Levi and the others must take aim and shoot."
Fans, who have been following the manga series, would know that Levi stayed with Kenny the Ripper for some time as a child. The latter was also the one who trained the former in knife-wielding combat and social skills.
After seeing Levi reached a point where he was able to fend for himself, Kenny the Ripper suddenly left him without goodbyes. This, apparently, caused a real rift between the two.
The second episode of "Attack on Titan" Season 3, titled "Pain," is set to air on Monday, July 30, on Crunchyroll and FUNimation. Check out the preview below:
