The 17th episode of "My Hero Academia" season 3 will kick off with a bang this week. In the upcoming episode, the Class 1-A will unite to bring down the students from the other schools amidst the Provisional Hero License Exam.

But before that, here's a quick recap for the previous episode. In "Shiketsu High Lurking," Teacher Emi Fukukado (voiced by Mariko Nagai) revealed to Teacher Shota Aizawa (voiced by Junichi Suwabe) that the primary test for the hero licenses is not about whoever attack first. Instead, it is much more about teamwork and the ability to gather information.

The primary test, then, kicked off with Shikkui Makabe (voiced by Hiromichi Kogami) and Itejiro Toteki (voiced by Kenta Ōkuma) attacking Class 1-A using their respective Quirks. The former made the balls hard with his Stiffening Quirk, while the latter launched it to the Class 1-A students with his Boomerang Quirk.

As the examinees from different schools exchanged their attacks, Yokumiru Mera (voiced by Masami Iwasaki) suddenly announced that no one had passed the first test yet. Upon hearing this, Izuku Midoriya (voiced by Daiki Yamashita) concluded that everyone was in a stalemate since they are waiting to see what their opponents can do.

However, Inasa Yoarashi (voiced by Ryota Iwasaki) proved them wrong when he used his Whirlwind Quirk to take the balls of the surrounding students. He, then, blasted all of the balls onto the examinees, successfully eliminating 120 of them. He was the first student to past the initial exam.

Now, the action continues in the 17th episode of "My Hero Academia" season 3. In the next episode, Izuku Midoriya will reportedly come up with a plan to get through the Provisional Hero License Exam together - the entire Class 1-A must team up and fight alongside.

The 17th episode of "My Hero Academia" season 3 will also see Shoto Todoroki (voiced by Yuki Kaji), who is being targeted by Seijin High School, unleashing his Half-Cold Half-Hot Quirk to outsmart them. That being said, he will presumably be the first student from U.A. High School to pass the exam, as per OtakuKart. As he patiently in the room, a tension will be formed between him and Inasa Yoarashi.

The 17th episode of "My Hero Academia" season 3, titled "Class 1-A," is set to be released on Aug. 4, Saturday in Japan. While waiting, check out the preview for the upcoming episode below:
