A new rumor has found its way to Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus. It is believed that Jennifer Garner warned the former the latter's plan of trapping him. Apparently, it came from a false report.
Gossip Cop has debunked the rumor, suggesting that the two are not even dating anymore. It is true, though, that Garner is trying to deal with issues relating to the actor, who continues to struggle with sobriety.
"They got into a huge fight. One of Jen's biggest fears is that Lindsay is going to trap Ben, but he refuses to listen," an ill-informed "source" of the tabloid said. "And though they may just be rumors, Jen's not about to let Lindsay get in the way of what's rightfully hers."
The publication maintains that Garner is concerned about a financial settlement for herself and her kids. After all, she and Affleck are still in process of finalizing their divorce. Interestingly, the tabloid has since deleted the post following the bust made by Gossip Cop.
What the tabloid forgot to note is that Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus are no longer dating. According to E! News, they called it quits several weeks ago. As opposed to Shookus using Affleck as a "meal ticket," she actually broke up with him due to his drinking issues.
Moreover, Shookus reportedly wants Affleck to enter rehab way before the split even happened. He ultimately did with the help of Garner, but he and the "SNL" producer had already parted ways.
Fans of the "Batman VS Superman: Dawn Of Justice" actor are furious, as they believed that Garner is still objecting to Affleck's love life. People, on the other hand, clarified that she is simply concerned with their kids and Affleck's sobriety. "Her concern right now is not who he is dating," the publication added.
