Love is indeed sweeter the second time around. Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd, fanned the flames after being spotted with Bella Hadid over the weekend.

On Sunday, Aug. 26, The Weeknd and Bella Hadid were spotted sharing a passionate kiss outside of their Los Angeles hotel before heading out to lunch, indicating that their relationship is on again. The couple kept it simple as they sported matching zip-up jackets and dark athletic shorts.

Not long after it made noise in the online world, the 28-year-old singer-songwriter further teased fans about their rekindled romance. In his Instagram story, the 21-year-old supermodel can be seen sleeping comfortably in the luxe bed they are sharing, while he enjoys watching "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"

Rumors about The Weeknd and Bella Hadid rekindling their romance began when they attended the 2018 Cannes Film Festival together, more than a year after calling quits on their relationship. The two have yet to comment publicly on whether they have reignited their romance, but a source confirmed to E! News that they are definitely back together.

"Abel realized once he started dating around, that he actually is still in love with Bella, and they reconnected," an unnamed source said. "Things have been going really well. They have been inseparable and have been truly working with each other's schedules to make it work," the source added.

In late 2016, The Weeknd and Bella Hadid announced that they have decided to go separate ways. Their problems reportedly stemmed from their lack of time for each other due to their respective busy schedules.

Now, the couple learned from their past mistakes and make sure to spend more quality time together despite their busy schedules. In fact, they have been traveling non-stop together for the past months before the "I Feel It Coming" hitmaker starts performing again.

The Weeknd will have a concert on Sept. 8 at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany. It will be followed with another show during "Life Is Beautiful Music & Art Festival" in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada on Sept. 21. He is also coming to Asia with tour dates in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and the Philippines this December.
