Former "19 Kids And Counting" star Anna Renee Duggar gave fans an update on her 11-month-old son, Mason Garrett, and his growth progress.

On Saturday, Aug. 25, the 30-year-old television personality posted a video of her baby boy, Mason Garrett, as she opened up about his health issues. Their youngest son has milk or dairy allergy.

Pancakes for a Saturday brunch may seem ordinary, but today at our house it is a big deal! It is Mason’s first time to have (dairy-free) pancakes! Yup, you may have guessed it...Lil Mason has a milk protein (aka dairy) allergy. Allergies showed up at 2 weeks, and caused us to switch to formula while momma cut dairy and other potential allergy causing foods out of my diet (i.e. gluten, corn, soy, eggs, nuts, chicken, & nightshade foods). Thankfully as we added things back into my diet we discovered Mason was only allergic to dairy, and by January he was back to 100% nursing and thriving — reaching 20lbs at 6 months! Sometimes in life we are faced with a mountain that seems impossible. We pray asking God to move the mountain, yet God wants us to climb it! Even though it is unexpected (and hard work) it is so worth it, God’s grace is sufficient for each step of the way! To have a mountain top experience you must first climb the mountain! So friends, whatever you’re facing today keep doing the next right thing — go take the next step! It’s totally worth it to keep going when you know you’re on the right track! P.S. Any tips for a good dairy-free pizza? #littleduggars A post shared by  Anna Duggar (@annaduggar) on Aug 25, 2018 at 11:43am PDT

Anna Renee Duggar went ahead to reveal that Mason Garrett's allergy first appeared when he was two weeks old, causing her to stop breastfeeding for some time as she reconsider her own eating habits. Fortunately, it all turned out well in the end.

"[It] caused us to switch to formula while momma cut dairy and other potential allergy-causing foods out of my diet (i.e., gluten, corn, soy, eggs, nuts, chicken, & nightshade foods)," she wrote in the caption. "Thankfully as we added things back into my diet we discovered Mason was only allergic to dairy," she added.

Their growing family, then, welcomed 2018 with a good news - Mason Garret returned to 100 percent nursing and thriving, eventually reaching 20lbs at six months. She, then, likened the challenging experience to climbing a mountain and shared some inspiring and encouraging words to her followers who are also facing challenges in life.

Anna Renee Duggar has been on hiatus for years after it was reported that his husband, Josh Duggar, molested four of his sisters and a babysitter when he was 14-15 years old. He reportedly touched his sisters' breasts and genital areas on multiple occasions while they were asleep.

In a statement posted to the family website, the 30-year-old reality star admitted that he is addicted to pornography and have been unfaithful to his wife while preaching faith and family values to others. Not long after it came to light, TLC announced the cancellation of the family's reality television show, "19 Kids And Counting," after seven years.
