Former baseball shortstop Alex Rodriguez has no reason to feel jealous of actor Milo Ventimiglia, who is the leading man of his girlfriend Jennifer Lopez in the upcoming romantic comedy film called "Second Act."
This comes after a report have been doing the rounds that the 43-year-old former professional baseball shortstop reportedly got jealous as Jennifer Lopez is becoming close to her co-star Milo Ventimiglia.
"The idea of Jennifer filming love scenes with a guy who's openly got the hots for her is Alex's worst nightmare," a source told Globe Magazine (via Gossip Cop). "The fact that Milo clearly has a thing for her is making [Alex Rodriguez] green with envy," the source added.
In "Second Act," the "On the Floor" star plays an ordinary working woman, Maya, who is stuck in a low paying job. Her life suddenly turns upside down when a private finance firm hires her to handle a major business deal, believing that she is an accomplished consultant. Milo Ventimiglia plays her love interest, Trey.
However, Gossip Cop dismissed the said report and stressed that there is no reason for Alex Rodriguez to get jealous. They also noted that the filming for the said romantic comedy film already concluded in December 2017.
At the time, Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez freely expressed their love for one another. The "This Is Us" actor, on the other hand, was romantically linked to marketing coordinator Kelly Egarian. Thus, the said report is neither timely nor true.
Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez' romance first surfaced in March 2017 after being spotted together on numerous occasions. Since then, the two have been vocal about their feelings for one another with the "Maid in Manhattan" star calling him as her twin soul while accepting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards.
In her acceptance speech, as quoted by People, the 49-year-old singer, dancer and actress revealed that she and Alex Rodriguez are like mirror images of each other. She also said that her life becomes sweeter and better after he came, before adding: "you make me realize that every day the sky is not the limit - the universe is infinite, and so is what we can accomplish together with love and trust and understanding."
The award-winning actress also thanked her 10-year-old twins, Emme Maribel Muñiz and Maximilian David Muñiz and everyone who helped her from the beginning in her career.
