There are rumors Kim Kardashian is about to create her own tanning business to compete with Kylie Jenner's lip kit empire. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" stars are said to be in a sibling rivalry because of the youngest Jenner's billion-dollar success.

A gossip magazine claimed Kim is preparing to invest millions of dollars into a "fake tan franchise." Allegedly, Kanye West's wife hopes it will be as successful as Kylie's lip kit business.

A so-called insider revealed Kim is about to collaborate with her "self-tan guru Jimmy Coco" as they plan to turn the $500-a-session technique into a $30 product that will be made available in all drugstores in the United States. Although she tries her luck with her makeup line, KKW Beauty, she wants her tanning business to be on a "bigger scale."

Kim's motivation for her planned business is said to be Kylie as she wants to surpass the popularity of the latter's lip kit. With her love for fake tanning, the insider added the 37-year-old television personality is eager to put her own money into this venture as she believes it will quickly turn into a billion-dollar success.

However, Gossip Cop is debunking this report. Kim is neither putting up a tanning business nor competing with her sister, Kylie. The mother-of-three's spokesperson told the publication this story is not true. There is also no truth to the claim Kim wants to invest in a $30 tanning product as her KKW Beauty is already a success.

Kim also debunked the alleged sibling rivalry between her and Kylie. She even defended her sister from the critics who accused Travis Scott's partner as not a self-made billionaire. Some said Stormi's mother only got her fortune from others and she didn't work hard for it.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight in July, Kim talked about Kylie's appearance on the cover of Forbes Magazine's America's Richest Self-Made Women issue. "You know, everyone has a team, I don't care who you are, but when you don't get it from someone else, that's 'self-made," she said.

To recall, Forbes featured Kylie as a 20-year-old mogul who could be America's youngest billionaire. The social media personality's net worth was said to be around $900 million with the success of her Kylie Cosmetics beauty line.

Kim explained her sister earned her fortune and not given to her. She was even proud that she worked hard for it, and added they all have to work for themselves.
