It looks like singer and actress Jennifer Lopez and boyfriend Alex Rodriguez are ready to take their relationship to the next level. The couple, who started dating in February 2017, is reportedly in the process of planning their much-anticipated wedding.

The exciting news came to light when the latest issue of OK! Magazine (via Gossip Cop) claimed that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are currently busy planning their lavish wedding ceremony, which would take place sometime in summer.

The big day would last for three days and will be attended by various celebrities, including her best friend, actress and author Leah Marie Remini. Several artists are also set to perform, although it remains unclear whether they will play at the wedding ceremony or the reception - or both.

While many fans are happy to hear the news, Gossip Cop's source has debunked the wedding report. As per the source, there was no wedding in the works, adding that the couple is not even engaged yet.

Back in August, Alex Rodriguez addressed rumors that he and the "Maid in Manhattan" star are already engaged after the latter was spotted wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring. During his guest appearance on NBC's "Today," he said that the ring is not an engagement ring.

"I gave her the ring maybe four or five months ago," the 43-year-old former professional baseball shortstop told "Today" hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, as quoted by Entertainment Weekly. "I got her that ring. She loved it," he added.

While the ring has significance, Alex Rodriguez stressed they are not yet engaged. Instead, he and Jennifer Lopez are just enjoying their relationship and in no rush to walk down the aisle soon.

Before Alex Rodriguez, the 49-year-old singer, actress and dancer has been married three times - to waiter Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998; dancer Cris Judd from 2001 to 2002; and singer and actor Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014. She and Marc Anthony share 10-year-old twins, Maximilian David Muñiz and Emme Maribel Muñiz.

Alex Rodriguez, on the other hand, was married to Cynthia Scurtis from 2002 to 2008, with whom he shares two daughters, 13-year-old Natasha Alexander, and 10-year-old Ella Alexandar. He was also romantically linked to model Melissa Britos; singer and songwriter, Madona Louise Ciccone; television personality and talk show host, Bethenny Frankel; actress Kate Garry Hudson; and actress and producer, Cameron Michelle Diaz.
