It looks like Gwyneth Paltrow is going through a rough time right now. The 45-year-old actress and socialite and fiancé Brad Falchuk have reportedly called off their engagement.

The shocking news came to light when the latest issue of Star Magazine (via Gossip Cop) claimed that Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk have decided to call the engagement off altogether. It comes after the latter threw a hissy fit when his fiancée insisted that her ex-husband, singer-songwriter Chris Martin, would play a key role in the wedding ceremony.

"It all started when Gwyneth asked Chris to walk her down the aisle," an insider told Star Magazine. "[Chris Martin] also offered to serenade the couple, which she thought was sweet," the insider added.

The 47-year-old writer and producer, however, was reportedly far from pleased since he knows how much the Coldplay frontman still means to Gwyneth Paltrow. Adding fuel to the fire, the latter is reportedly acting like a total bridezilla during the wedding planning.

According to the insider, Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk are initially planning a small and intimate wedding ceremony with their families and closest friends in attendance. Suddenly, the bride-to-be becomes extremely demanding and difficult to deal with.

Not long after it made noise online, Gossip Cop immediately debunked the claims describing it as baseless and a mere rumor. The "Iron Man" actress admitted in a previous interview that she is not that involved in the wedding planning. Instead, she is leaving all the worries to their event planner and stylist.

"I'm very busy so I'm actually not that involved in it," she said in an interview with E! News. "I'm probably the least bridezilla person probably to a fault that has ever come across my wedding planner's office doors," she added.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk, who announced their engagement in January after four years of dating, is set to exchange wedding vows this September in The Hamptons, New York, on Long Island.

Before that, Gwyneth Paltrow is currently busy managing her own company, Goop. Also, she is reportedly busy writing a sex guide for married couples, wherein each chapters will feature the Earth's elements - Earth, Water, Air, and Fire.

She is also set to reprise her role as Virginia "Pepper" Potts in the much-awaited "Avengers 4" along with actors Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, and Chadwick Boseman. The film is set to be released in May 2019.
