It's been a year since Anna Faris and Chris Pratt announced their split and they are both very happy with their respective love lives. However, the 41-year-old actress-producer does not reportedly want their son to get close to her ex-husband's new girlfriend.
According to the latest issue of Star Magazine (via Gossip Cop), the "Scary Movie" actress want to maintain the gap between her son Jack Pratt and Chris Pratt's new girlfriend, Katherine Schwarzenegger.
"[Anna Faris] is laying down the law," an unnamed source told the news outlet. "Anna has made it clear that Jack is never allowed to call Katherine mom. She also doesn't want [Schwarzenegger] to be left alone with Jack," the source added.
Not long after it hit the web, Gossip Cop immediately debunked the claims stressing that Anna Faris and Chris Pratt have not set any rules at all. The former reiterated in a previous interview that their divorce is amicable and they have remained good friends for the sake of their six-year-old son.
"What Chris and I try to do is to communicate openly," Anna Faris said in an interview with Women's Health Magazine. "We reiterate that there aren't rules to this. We have a lot of love and friendship, and our big goal is to protect Jack. I cherish my family, my close friends, my child-that makes the rest of it worth it," she added.
Anna Faris and Chris Pratt, who first met at the set of 2007's "Take Me Home Tonight," tied the knots in a small ceremony in Bali, Indonesia in July 2009. After years of being together, they announced that they were legally separating in August 2017.
Since then, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor has been romantically linked to Katherine Schwarzenegger, the elder daughter of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and broadcast journalist Maria Shriver. The two reportedly met through the latter.
The two were recently spotted getting cozy on a date night at STK Atlanta in Georgia. They were dressed in casual yet stylish attire and were seen getting affectionate throughout the meal.
As per the source close to the couple (via PEOPLE), Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are both serious about the relationship and hopeful for the future. The source added, "Chris doesn't just date to date, and neither does Katherine... [They] are very happy together."
The "The Dictator" actress, on the other hand, started dating cinematographer Michael Barrett in October 2017. The two reportedly met on the set of the recently released romantic comedy film, "Overboard."
