Country singer Keith Urban and wife Nicole Kidman have been the subject of relentless break-up rumors. Now, the 50-year-old musician has finally broke his silence on the matter.

During his guesting on "The Kyle and Jackie O" radio show, Keith Urban admitted that he and his wife find those break-up rumors hurtful, particularly to their children - 10-year-old Sunday Rose and seven-year-old Faith Margaret.

"When you have kids it changes it because that's really hurtful to kids," the father-of-two explained to fill-in host Beau Ryan, as quoted by Entertainment Tonight. "They don't quite understand, and they go, 'Why are they saying that?' and you go, 'Because it sells. It sells magazines. It's the only reason they're doing it.' That part of it is a bit rough," he added.

The "Blue Ain't Your Color" hitmaker went on to say that some of the rumors about his marriage are baseless and particularly ridiculous. He, then, recounted a time when he and his wife were having a great time together in Colorado, but several news outlet ended up telling a completely different story.

This comes shortly after Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have faced breakup rumors for the past few months. Allegedly, the 51-year-old award-winning actress and producer had enough of her better half's infidelity and addictions to drugs and alcohol.

The alleged cheating allegation includes a series of photos showing the "Only You Can Love Me This Way" singer and television personality, Alecia Davis, seemingly getting cozy at the 2017 California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles.

"I'm sure Nicole will blow a fuse when she sees the pictures," an unnamed insider was quoted by Star Magazine (via Gossip Cop) as saying. "There have been whispers about trouble between them for a while, and even speculation about a divorce. Given what she's had to deal with, I just don't know how much more Nicole can take," the insider added.

Keith Urban, however, is still keeping mum about those cheating allegations. Instead, he is busy embarking on his "Graffiti U World Tour" in support of his latest album titled "Graffiti U." The said concert tour, which kicked off last June 15, is set to conclude in February 2019 in Melbourne, Australia.

The "Moulin Rouge!" star, on the other hand, will star next as Queen Atlanna in the upcoming DC Extended Universe superhero film "Aquaman." She will also reprise her role as Celeste Wright in HBO's "Big Little Lies" Season 2, which is set to premiere sometime in 2019.
