Sad news awaits Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's fans. The former couple did not reunite for a romantic dinner date in Sardinia, Italy despite recent reports suggesting otherwise.
According to the latest issue of National Enquirer Magazine (via Gossip Cop), Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston catch up over a romantic dinner at actor George Clooney's mansion in Sardinia, Italy earlier this summer.
The ex-spouses also shared a laugh and a glass of wine aboard a luxury yacht. Following the alleged romantic dinner date, they once again met up in early August when the 54-year-old actor and film producer stopped by his ex-wife's Bel Air home.
"It gave them a chance to bond all over again," an unnamed insider told National Enquirer Magazine. "They are both going through tough divorces and have a lot of intense, shared history," the insider added.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie announced their split in 2016 after 11 years of being together. Jennifer Aniston, on the other hand, threw in the towel on her relationship with actor, director, and screenwriter Justin Theroux in early February 2018.
Despite their respective break-ups, the relentless rumors claiming that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have allegedly rekindled their romance is not true at all. The latter's close friend, Portia de Rossi, said that the two had not seen each other for such a long time.
"I was at a newsstand ... and there was a cover of Brad [Pitt] and Jen [Aniston]," the 45-year-old Australian and American model and actress said in a previous interview with US Weekly. "I literally just stared at it, and I was like, 'They haven't seen each other. ... How is this even a thing?"
It is also worth noting that both Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are busy with their respective careers. The former is currently in Los Angeles, California filming the upcoming mystery crime film called "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood."
In the said upcoming film, the "World War Z" star takes on the role of Cliff Booth, a longtime stunt double and close friend of a renowned actor, Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio). He will be joined by Margot Robbie, Luke Perry, Damian Lewis, Emile Hirsch, and Dakota Fanning.
The "Just Go with It" actress, on the other hand, is busy filming the upcoming mystery-comedy film, "Murder Mystery," alongside actors Adam Sandler and Luke Evans. No release date has been set yet.
