Each episode of the popular SBS variety show, Running Man, is nothing but pure bliss. The show's cast members cannot help but teased Lee Kwang Soo, who recently attended actor Song Joong Ki's 10th-anniversary fan meeting event in Hong Kong as a special guest.

In the latest episode of "Running Man," which aired on Sunday, Sept. 23, cast member and singer Kim Jong Kook jokingly said that Song Joong Ki invited Lee Kwang Soo at his 10th-anniversary fan meeting event as a master of ceremony (MC) rather than a special guest.

In response, Lee Kwang Soo said that he got an official invitation and went to the event as a close friend of the "Descendants of the Sun" actor. Another cast member and comedian, Ji Suk Jin, then, joked, "Are you sure you didn't just go there on your own?"

The rest of the cast members then continued to joke that Lee Kwang Soo acted like a junior to Song Joong Ki despite the fact that they are the same age. Soon afterward, comedian Yoo Jae Suk sent a video message to Song Joong Ki on air.

"We're grateful to [Song] Joong Ki for not forgetting about [Lee] Kwang Soo and taking care of him," the 46-year-old comedian and host said, as quoted by Soompi. "[Song] Joong Ki, please invite him to your 11th anniversary as well. May your fame be eternal. As long as you're forever, so is [Lee] Kwang Soo."

Song Joong Ki, who rose to fame after starring in the 2010's historical drama "Sungkyunkwan Scandal," celebrated his 10th anniversary with a special fan meeting event at the Kyung Hee University Peace Hall on Sept. 1.

The 33-year-old actor kicked off the special fan meeting event by looking back at his humble beginnings to his rise to stardom. He made his acting debut in the 2008 period film, "A Frozen Flower" and became a regular host of KBS' "Music Bank" from 2009 to 2010.

He, then, landed his first television leading role in the 2012's melodrama, "The Innocent Man," and starred in the popular fantasy romance film, "A Werewolf Boy," alongside Park Bo Young.  In 2016, he played the lead male role in the pan-Asia hit drama, "Descendants of the Sun," which cemented his status as a top Hallyu star.

As Song Joong Ki continues to reminisce his early days in the entertainment industry, his best friend Lee Kwang Soo suddenly made a surprise appearance. The two, then, enjoyed a virtual reality (VR) game on stage together and showcased their adorable chemistry by engaging in some quality bickering.
