Contrary to what a narrative is claiming, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel did not get a "$300 Million Divorce," or any divorce for that matter. This false report has been recently debunked.
Gossip Cop shot down the false claim, noting at the time that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were happily married. Basically, the front page of OK! exclaimed, "Justin & Jessica: $300 Million Divorce!" Inside, the publication titled its article, "Justin & Jessica Marriage Crumbles!"
The story maintained the couple would often "fight" over a variety of topics, leaving their marriage "in jeopardy." The tabloid seemed to have premised its story on Justin Timberlake being "noticeably missing" from that year's Emmy Awards, which Jessica Biel attended solo. An alleged "source" stoked the fire by saying, "The fact that Justin refused to be by her side speaks volumes about the state of their relationship."
The outlet further contended, "Jess often feels like a single mom... she's sick of it." Then, after again asserting they repeatedly engaged in "heated fights," the magazine claimed there was a real chance of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel "calling it quits, which could see Jessica walk away with half of Justin's $300 million fortune." But despite all its dramatic declarations, the tabloid offered no concrete proof that they were actually getting a divorce.
In the months since that provably false cover story, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have posted numerous photos of themselves on social media looking happy and very much in love. In July, for instance, Timberlake posted a picture on Instagram of him kissing Biel in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. And Biel uploaded on Instagram a photo of her and Timberlake embracing, with a note that read, "There aren't enough [words] to express ALL the aspects of my love and respect for you."
Also, as reported by Harper's Bazaar, hours before this year's Emmys, for which Jessica Biel was nominated for Best Movie/Limited Series Actress for her role on USA's "The Sinner," Justin Timberlake shared a photo on Instagram of them dressed up and smiling, along with the caption, "We got a babysitter. #Emmys."
Justin Timberlake shamelessly gushed over Jessica Biel's nomination. He said, "I'm more geeked out than she is. I found out about the nomination before she did, she was in Europe actually when the nominations came out."
"I was there too and saw her auction this and develop it from scratch and I saw how much she put into it. I'm just so proud to be here and see this happen for her," he added.
