Anime fans are in for a treat. The spoilers and predictions for the 13th episode of "Overlord" season 3 is here, teasing the impending battle between Ainz Ooal Gown (voiced by Satoshi Hino) and Gazef Stronoff (voiced by Hiroshi Shirokuma).
Before that, here is a quick recap of what happened in the 12th episode of "Overlord" season 3. The latest episode, titled "Massacre," kicked off the annual war between the Re-Estize Kingdom and the Baharuth Empire.
As the grueling battle continued, Ainz Ooal Gown all of a sudden appeared along with Mare Bello Fiore (voiced by Yumi Uchiyama) and Nimble Arc Dale Anoch (voiced by Jun Kasama). He, then, casts the "Iä Shub-Niggurath," a powerful super-tier spell that allowed him to summon five Dark Young monsters.
The five Dark Young monsters, which is said to be ten meters tall, killed around 70,000 soldiers in the initial attack. As a result, the remaining 110,000 soldiers ran for their lives, but to no avail.
Despite witnessing how devastating Ainz Ooal Gown's magic was, Gazef Stronoff still chose to stay behind to cover his majesty's escape. As a result, he briefly clashed with a Dark Young, and even though they survived, he was unable to damage it.
Now, the intense heat will continue in the upcoming 13th episode of "Overlord" season 3. It is speculated that the next episode will see Ainz Ooal Gown walking onto the battlefield to personally approach Gazef Stronoff and asks him to pledge allegiance to him in exchange for stopping the war.
Gazef Stronoff, however, reportedly refuses the offer and requests a one-on-one duel with Ainz Ooal Gown instead. The latter will accept his challenge and asks Climb (voiced by Ryota Osaka) and Brain Unglaus (voiced by Koji Yusa) to be the witness of their match.
As the duel begins, Ainz Ooal Gown stops the time around them except him and starts casting off the powerful spells like Delay Magic and True Death altogether, as per OtakuKart. The move instantly kills Gazef Stronoff.
Soon afterward, Ainz Ooal Gown will offer Climb and Brain Unglaus a deal - the Dark Young will not attack the capital if E-Rantel and its surrounding areas are ceded to him. However, it remains to be seen if Climb and Brain Unglaus will accept his offer.
