Jennifer Garner's family is known for their annual Halloween bash. Now, the 46-year-old actress opened up about what she is doing with her kids and ex-husband Ben Affleck for the spooky holiday.

During a Monday, Oct. 8 appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Jennifer Garner revealed she and her three children - 12-year-old Violet, nine-year-old Seraphina Rose, and six-year-old Samuel - would decorate their house to the extreme for this year's Halloween.

"Yeah, yes we will," Jennifer Garner said when asked if she will go to the extreme with lawn décor, as quoted by People Magazine. "Every year there's something different. I think this year we'll go back to one of our favorites."

Jennifer Garner went on to say that her children have requested that this year's decorations all be environmentally sensitive. This is why they decided to create ghosts out of sheet fabric to look like members of the family.

"So my son will have big blue eyes and then they'll make their dad [Ben Affleck] with a lot of scruff," Jennifer Garner added. "And they'll make me with long hair and glasses and then probably a bun on my head."

Jennifer Garner's guest appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" comes shortly after it was confirmed that she and Ben Affleck had finalized their divorce after separating more than three years ago. There is no word yet on what custody agreement they have settled on

Despite going their separate ways, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck continue to amicably co-parent their three children. The two have also taken several vacations together with their children.

"You have to be on the same page. You have to cooperate," Ben Affleck said in a previous interview, as quoted by Today. "If you recognize that you both have the best interest of the kids at heart, it's quite a special connection. We're the only two people in the world who care this much about these three kids," he added.

Aside from that, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are also busy with their respective careers. After starring in the vigilante action film "Peppermint," the former will be providing the voice of June's mom in the upcoming animated adventure comedy film titled "Wonder Park."

Ben Affleck, on the other hand, will star next in J. C. Chandor's "Triple Frontier" along with Charlie Hunnam, Adria Arjona, Pedro Pascal, Oscar Isaac, and Garrett Hedlund. No release date has been set yet.
