It looks like Colin Jost is ready to take his relationship with Scarlett Johansson to the next level. The 36-year-old comedian and actor is reportedly getting ready to pop the big question to the latter.

In the October 2017 issue of Star Magazine (via Gossip Cop), Colin Jost reportedly sees himself growing old with Scarlett Johansson even though they have just started dating. That being said, he has started looking for a gorgeous engagement ring at several jewelry stores.

"Colin's beyond head over heels! Scarlett is literally his dream girl," an unnamed source told Star Magazine. "He's looking at massive diamonds and the plan is for a romantic vacay proposal, where they'll ring in the New Year with a sparkly engagement ring," the source added.

Colin Jost and Scarlett Johansson's romance came to light in May 2017 after they were spotted together at the "Saturday Night Live's" season finale after party. A few months later, they made their first appearance as a couple at the American Museum of Natural History Gala in New York City.

Now, Gossip Cop has debunked the report and stressed that there is no truth to these rumors. It also make no sense that Colin Jost is itching to settle down with Scarlett Johansson soon when the latter has openly expressed her issues with marriage.

In a previous interview with Playboy Magazine, Scarlett Johansson - who have been married twice; actor Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2011 and journalist Romain Dauriac from 2014 to 2017 - said she does not think it is natural to be monogamous.

"I think the idea of marriage is very romantic; it's a beautiful idea, and the practice of it can be a very beautiful thing," the 33-year-old actress and singer told Playboy Magazine, as quoted by E! News. "I don't think it's natural to be a monogamous person," she added.

It is also worth noting that Scarlett Johansson, who made her film debut in the 1994 fantasy comedy film "North," is busy with several projects. She is set to reprise her iconic role as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow in the much-anticipated untitled "Avengers" film.

She will also star alongside Adam Driver, Merritt Wever, Laura Dern and Azhy Robertson in Noah Baumbach's currently untitled film. She will, then, star in the upcoming dark comedy-drama film "Jojo Rabbit" along with Roman Griffin, Taika Waititi, Rebel Wilson, Sam Rockwell, and Thomasin McKenzie. No release date has been set yet.
