Things are not looking good for Boruto Uzumaki (voiced by Yuko Sanpei). The spoilers for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 77 suggest that Garaga (voiced by Masashi Nogawa) will gain the upper hand in battle with Boruto Uzumaki and his team.
Before "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 77, here is a quick recap of what happened on the 76th episode of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations." The latest episode showed the White Snake Sage asking Boruto Uzumaki to bring back the "Reverse Scale" from Garaga, an inhabitant of the Ryuchi Cave.
Upon their arrival at the Ryuchi Cave, Boruto Uzumaki and his team - Sarada Uchiha (voiced by Kokoro Kikuchi), Shikadai Nara (voiced by Kensho Ono), Inojin Yamanaka (voiced by Atsushi Abe) and Chocho Akimichi (voiced by Ryoko Shiraishi) - was immediately attacked by Garaga.
Shikadai Nara tried paralyzing Garaga but to no avail. Boruto Uzumaki, then, spotted the said "Reverse Scale," but Garaga suddenly moved before he can attack. The intense battle was suddenly interrupted by Aoda (voiced by Kōsuke Gotō).
Aoda, a summoning snake who pledged loyalty to Sasuke Uchiha, explained that only the most violent snakes have the said "Reverse Scale," and that they become milder once their reverse scale is removed.
Due to this, an enlarged Chocho Akimichi challenged Garada, creating a distraction for Inojin Yamanaka to cover his remaining eye with ink. Shikadai Nara pinned the snake with his shadows with the help of Aoda and Chocho Akimichi.
With this, Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha hurriedly remove the reverse scale, but to no avail. Garaga, then, spits a venom that petrified Chocho Akimichi.
Despite their situation, Boruto Uzumaki and his team are still determined to take the reverse scale from Garaga. They, however, will have a hard time completing the said mission as the latter reportedly have a unique ability that accurately detects the opponents' next moves and location.
"With this ability, together with his petrifying spell, Boruto and the team will have a hard time continuing the battle," the "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 77 synopsis reads (via OtakuKart). "However, the shinobi will find a weakness in Garaga's movement. Because of this, they will be able to make a strategy to finally corner Garaga. Boruto will then proposes a deal to the giant snake."
The "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 77 will air on Oct. 14, Sunday.
