Things are about to get intense in "Goblin Slayer." In the third episode of the popular anime television series, fans can expect High Elf Archer (voiced by Nao Tōyama), Dwarf Shaman (voiced by Yuichi Nakamura), and Lizard Priest (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita) joining forces with Goblin Slayer (voiced by Yūichirō Umehara).
Before "Goblin Slayer" episode 3, here is a quick recap of what happened in the latest episode. The second episode showed Goblin Slayer heading to the Adventurers Guild to find work, but he was treated by the other adventurers as a weirdo because he only accepts goblin quests in spite of being a high ranked adventurer.
Nevertheless, Guild Girl (voiced by Maaya Uchida) expressed her gratitude to Goblin Slayer for his help since most adventurers do not take goblin quests due to their low pay. Suddenly, Goblin Slayer revealed the true reason why the jobs he takes only involve goblins.
Goblin Slayer's village was attacked by goblins, and everyone he knew was killed. This led him to train himself vigorously and study goblins, including their strengths, weaknesses and different variations - Hobgoblins, Shamans, Riders, Champions, Paladins and Lords.
The scene, then, shifted to the Goblin Slayer and Priestess (voiced by Yui Ogura) attacking a fortress occupied by goblins, where they burned it down to prevent them from escaping. The episode ended with High Elf Archer and her companions looking for an adventurer named Orcbolg.
Now, the spoilers and predictions for "Goblin Slayer" episode 3 suggest High Elf Archer, Dwarf Shaman, and Lizard Priest will visit the Adventurers Guild to ask details about an adventurer named Orcbolg. However, Guild Girl will not have any information about the adventurer they are looking for because High Elf Archer is using some sort of elven word.
Due to this, Dwarf Shaman tries talking to Guild Girl using his mother tongue, but to no avail. Just when he and High Elf Archer starts bickering, Lizard Priest suddenly steps in and asks for a certain adventurer who is obsessed with hunting goblins.
However, High Elf Archer, Dwarf Shaman, and Lizard Priest will be interrupted by Goblin Slayer's arrival who gives his report on his most recent quest. Upon hearing his report, the trio will, then, asks him to aid them on a quest to eliminate goblins below the city.
"Goblin Slayer" Episode 3, titled "Unexpected Visitors," is expected to air on Oct. 21, Sunday.
