Love is in the air for Lady Gaga. The 32-year-old singer and songwriter has finally broken her silence about her relationship with talent manager, Christian Carino, and confirmed their engagement.
Lady Gaga was full of emotions as she accepted the recognition bestowed upon her as one of ELLE's Women in Hollywood last Monday, Oct. 15. Her 25-minute long acceptance speech touched on everything from being a sexual assault survivor, chronic pain sufferer to a mental illness advocate.
Before closing her speech, Lady Gaga expressed her sincerest gratitude to everyone who supported her since the beginning, including Christian Carino, referring to him as "my fiancé." Following the surprising announcement, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the two had been engaged since late 2017 but initially kept it a secret to avoid being the center of a media storm.
"[Lady] Gaga seems very happy to be in a more low-key relationship than with Taylor [Kinney]," the source said. "She's on top of the world and Christian [Carino] is part of that. They kept the engagement private so it wasn't the media storm it was with Taylor [Kinney]."

A different source (via US Weekly) also claimed that Lady Gaga and Christian Carino have not yet fully worked out the details for their wedding. The two might also have to push the wedding date to late next year because the "Born This Way" hitmaker is still working on her sixth studio album.
In fact, Lady Gaga has been in recording studios with producers like DJ White Shadow, Boys Noize, Sophie and BloodPop. Her follow-up to 2016's "Joanne" will reportedly be called "LG6 (working title)" and is expected to arrive before the year ends or early 2019.
While waiting, fans can check out Lady Gaga in her upcoming two-year residency, "Lady Gaga Enigma," which is scheduled to begin this Dec. 28 at the MGM Park Theater in Las Vegas. She will also perform 27 shows at the Park Theater over the course of 2019, with the run wrapping on Nov. 8, 2019.
Lady Gaga will also perform several "Jazz and Piano" shows, which will feature stripped-down versions of her hits as well as music from the Great American Songbook. It will run from Jan. 20, 2019 until June 9th.
