Sorry, "Game of Thrones" fans. Singer-actor Joe Jonas has shut down rumors that he will make a cameo appearance on the eighth and final season of HBO's popular fantasy television series.
In an interview with Variety, Joe Jonas was asked if he would be making an appearance in the eighth and final season of "Game of Thrones." In response, he said he would not appear in the upcoming season, though he would have loved to be a part of it.
"I would have done it in a heartbeat, but unfortunately, it's not going to happen," Joe Jonas told Variety at the Fendi Mania party at the Fendi boutique in Beverly Hills, California last Oct. 16, Tuesday. "That would have been amazing. I would have loved it."
Joe Jonas went on to say that he cannot wait for the premiere of "Game of Thrones" season 8 and find out who will end up on the Iron Throne. He also does not want his fiancée Sophie Turner, who plays Lady Sansa Stark in the series, to spoil things for him, remarking that he would be disappointed if he knew how things were going to turn out.
Joe Jonas started dating Sophie Turner in November 2016 when they were spotted cuddling up together at a Kings of Leon concert in the Netherlands. Since then, the two have been spotted together at various events. In October 2017, they announced that they are engaged to be married on Instagram.

Despite becoming engaged, Joe Jonas said he and Sophie Turner would not be walking down the aisle any time soon. Instead, they are currently busy with their respective careers and enjoying their time with one another at the same time.
Aside from playing Lady Sansa Stark in HBO's "Game of Thrones," Sophie Turner will also headline the upcoming superhero film, "Dark Phoenix." The film follows an extremely powerful mutant with telepathic and telekinetic powers, Jean Grey / Phoenix (Sophie Turner), who suddenly loses control of her abilities and unleashes the Phoenix.
"Dark Phoenix" also stars James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, Michael Fassbender as Erik Lehnsherr / Magneto, Jennifer Lawrence as Raven Darkholme / Mystique and Nicholas Hoult as Hank McCoy / Beast. It is scheduled to hit theaters on June 7, 2019.
Joe Jonas, on the other hand, recently joined the Australian version of "The Voice" as a coach. He is also the lead vocals of the American pop band, DNCE.
