Exciting things are in store for fans. The spoilers and predictions for "One Piece" chapter 922 suggest an unlikely alliance between Monkey D. Luffy's team and Shutenmaru, the leader of the Atamayama Thieves.
Before that, here is a quick recap of what happened in the latest chapter of "One Piece." The 921st chapter started with the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai alliance busy preparing for their attack on Kaido of the Beasts' home island of Onigashima during the upcoming Fire Festival.
Foxfire Kin'emon can be seen explaining to the Straw Hats his plan to recruit those still loyal to the Kozuki Family. Soon afterward, Roronoa Zoro and "God" Usopp left the hideout to look for allies in the Flower Capital, while "Iron Man" Franky worked on the architect of Kaido of the Beasts' residence.
Nico Robin was also busy training as a geisha in the hopes of gaining Kurozumi Orochi's audience so she can spy on him and his men, while "Soul King" Brook was tasked with acquiring food provisions from the capital. "Cat Burglar" Nami, on the other hand, was trained by the kunoichi, Shinobu, in the art of bewitchment.
The scene, then, shifted to Shutenmaru and the Atamayama Thieves stealing the fresh food in Okobore Town. He, however, was stopped by Jack of the Beasts Pirates who asked him about the Straw Hat Pirates, but to no avail.
With that, Jack asked him to become Kaido of the Beasts' underling instead. Shutenmaru refused his offer as he gave him a massive cut and the two began fighting. Jack managed to injure Shutenmaru's shoulder, but he was unwavering.
Jack and Shutenmaru's duel, however, was interrupted when Kaido of the Beasts came flying in his dragon form and asked the former to bring Monkey D. Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates to him immediately.
Now, Game N Guides speculated that Jack will immediately abandon the fight with Shutenmaru to find the Straw Hat Pirates. Intrigued, Shutenmaru and the Atamayama Thieves will also look for Monkey D. Luffy and his team.
During his hunt, Shutenmaru may come across with Foxfire Kin'emon and from there, an unlikely alliance will be formed. The publication further note that Shutenmaru may be one of the nine prophesied samurai who will ultimately end Kurozumi Orochi's reign and open the Wano Country's borders to the rest of the world.
"One Piece" chapter 922 is expected to arrive on Friday, Oct. 26.
