Singer Nick Jonas and actress Priyanka Chopra got engaged last August in a traditional Punjabi Roka ceremony. Despite the engagement, the two are in no rush to walk down the aisle just yet.
It came to light when a source told Entertainment Tonight that Nick Jonas and fiancée Priyanka Chopra have not yet fully worked out the details for their wedding. Instead, they are taking some time to fully enjoy their engagement.
"The couple is still planning their wedding for next year," the source said. "Both of them are extremely busy, but are making time to enjoy the relationship and not rush anything more than they already have."
It is also worth noting that Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra still have work commitments, which they need to finish first. The former recently joined the cast of the upcoming animated film, "UglyDolls," along with singer Kelly Clarkson and rapper Pitbull. He will also perform an original song for the said animated film.
Priyanka Chopra, on the other hand, will play a yoga ambassador, Isabella, in Todd Strauss-Schulson's upcoming romantic comedy film, "Isn't It Romantic." She will be joined by Rebel Wilson as Natalie, Adam DeVine as Josh, Liam Hemsworth as Blake, and Betty Gilpin as Whitney.
Priyanka Chopra will also play the lead female role opposite actor Chris Pratt in the upcoming action film, "Cowboy Ninja Viking." The project, which will be helmed by Michelle MacLaren ("Game of Thrones") from a screenplay by Ryan Engle, Dan Mazeau, Paul Wernick, David Reese, and Craig Mazin, is still in its pre-production phase.
In addition to that, she will star opposite actor Farhan Akhtar in Shonali Bose's Indian Hindi-language biographical drama film, "The Sky Is Pink." It is based on motivational speaker, Aisha Chaudhary, who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis when she was 13 years old.
Once Nick Jonas and Priyanka are done with their respective work commitments, they will reportedly tie the knot in a traditional Indian wedding ceremony in Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace. The ceremony will run for three days with their family and closest friends in attendance.
After the wedding, the couple will move into the luxurious Beverly Hills mansion that Nick Jonas has purchased. The said mansion, which is worth $6.6 million, features five-bedroom, five-bathroom, a floating guest wing, and an extended wood terrace, as per TMZ. It also has an infinity pool with a Grand Canyon view.
