It looks like Orlando Bloom is ready to take his relationship with Katy Perry to the next level. A new report claims that the 41-year-old actor is ready to settle down with the singer anytime soon.
It came to light when a source told People Magazine that Orlando Bloom now sees himself growing old with Katy Perry, just months after rekindling their romance. Thus, it should come as no surprise if he will pop the question soon.
"He is ready to settle down with Katy," an unnamed source revealed. "She hasn't put any pressure on their relationship lately, and everything is just easy. Being with Katy makes Orlando very happy... In the past, he seemed so scattered and unwilling to settle down. He is like a new person now and everyone is excited for him," the source added.
The source went on to say that Orlando Bloom is now in a different place than he was last year, citing that he has matured a lot. He is also doing everything he can to make his relationship with Katy Perry last.
It can be recalled that Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry started dating shortly after the 73rd Golden Globe Awards in January 2016 and since then, they were seen together at various events and vacations.
However, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry announced in February 2017 that they decided to go their separate ways. Then in April this year, news broke that the two resumed their relationship.
Then on Sept. 26, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry made their first red carpet appearance since rekindling their romance. They appeared together at the Gala for the Global Ocean at the Opera of Monte-Carlo in Monaco, as per W Magazine.
Orland Bloom, who is known for his iconic role as Legolas in "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, looked dapper in a sharp black suit with a white button-up shirt and shiny black shoes. Katy Perry, on the other hand, sported a nude Tom Ford ruched gown with embroidered silver sleeves. She paired it with beige heels, diamond earrings, and a bold pink lip.
In other news, Orlando Bloom has been tapped to read a bedtime story for BBC's "CBeebies." He will be seen reading "We Are Together" by Britta Teckentrup on the said network this coming Nov. 9.
Katy Perry, on the other hand, is gearing up for ABC's "American Idol" season 17. She will once again serve as a judge along with award-winning singers Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan. It is expected to premiere sometime in 2019.
