Actor Chris Pratt has been dating author Katherine Schwarzenegger since June, and it sounds like things are getting serious. A new report suggests that the two are already planning a future together.

It came to light when a source revealed to Hollywood Life that Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are now getting more serious about each other. The two might even get engaged before the year ends.

"Katherine [Schwarzenegger] and Chris [Pratt] are super serious, they've said the L word and they talk about their future together like it's a given," a source close to the 28-year-old author said. "They've only been together six months but they're very committed."

The source went on to say that Katherine Schwarzenegger already met Chris Pratt's family and his six-year-old son, Jack, whom he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris. The former even goes out of her way to spoil Jack by baking him special cupcakes.

As for the 39-year-old actor, he spends tons of time with Katherine Schwarzenegger's entire family and is especially close to her parents, actor and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger and broadcast journalist, Maria Shriver.

While nothing is set in stone yet, the same source claimed that there is a high probability that Chris Pratt would ask Katherine Schwarzenegger's hand in marriage during her 29th birthday party this coming Dec. 13.

This comes just days after Chris Pratt finalized his divorce with Anna Faris more than a year after announcing their separation in August 2017. The two, who played an on-screen couple in "Take Me Home Tonight," got married in an intimate ceremony in July 2009 after two years of dating. They, however, filed for divorce in December 2017.

Since then, Chris Pratt has been happily dating Katherine Schwarzenegger. Anna Faris, on the other hand, is seeing cinematographer Michael Barre ('Kiss Kiss Bang Bang' and 'Ted'). Despite that, the former couple remains on good terms as they continue to co-parent their son, Jack.

In a previous interview with Women's Health Magazine, Anna Faris said she and Chris Pratt communicate openly when it comes to their six-year-old son. She added: "We reiterate that there aren't rules to this. We have a lot of love and friendship, and our big goal is to protect Jack."

Aside from co-parenting Jack, both Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are busy with their respective careers. The former will reprise his role as Peter Quill / Star-Lord in the upcoming untitled "Avengers" film, while the latter will be lending her voice in Walt Disney's upcoming computer-animated comedy film, "Ralph Breaks the Internet.
