The first season of "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" ended with a bang. Following the mind-boggling finale, cast member Ross Lynch discussed what fans could expect to see next.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Ross Lynch - who plays Harvey Kinkle - said "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" season 2 will see Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka) spending more time in the witching world. So, Harvey Kinkle and her friends - Rosalind "Roz" Walker (Jaz Sinclair), Susie Putnam (Lachlan Watson) and Nicholas Scratch (Gavin Leatherwood) - will not be able to see her as much.
The 22-year-old actor and singer, then, added Harvel Kinkle would have a hard time accepting the truth about his ex-girlfriend's true identity as a witch. Due to this, he and Sabrina Spellman will eventually grow apart.
"It's kind of sad isn't it?" Lynch reflected. "Because you always want Harvey and Sabrina to be together, that iconic couple... He finally learned the truth, but because Harvey comes from a long line of witch hunters, he doesn't take to the magic very easily, and that eventually kind of pulls them apart."
As if that is not exciting enough, "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" season 2 will be even crazier and darker than the first one. It will pick up right from the events of the season one finale with Sabrina Spellman sporting an icy new look, which is seemingly a side effect of the blaze she summoned to defeat the Greendale Thirteen.
It can be recalled that the season one of "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" ended with Harvey Kinkle ending his relationship with Sabrina Spellman after the latter revealed that she is a witch and that she needed to kill his older brother, Tommy Kinkle (Justin Dobies).
The scene, then, shifted to Mary Wardwell / Madam Satan (Michelle Gomez) taking Sabrina Spellman to the woods. There, she convinced her to sign the Book of the Beast to gain the power to defeat the Greendale Thirteen.
While reluctant at first, Sabrina Spellman eventually accepted Mary Wardwell / Madam Satan's proposal and signed her name in the said Book of the Beast. She, then, unleashed Hellfire on the Hanging Tree and the Greendale Thirteen - successfully vanquishing them.
However, fans will have to wait a little longer before "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" returns as the staff and cast members are still filming the second season in Vancouver, Canada. The production is expected to wrap sometime in December.
