"Goblin Slayer" fans should brace themselves for an unusual episode. After a series of intense and grueling battles, the anime's upcoming episode 5 will follow Goblin Slayer's (voiced by Yūichirō Umehara) normal life.
Before that, here is a quick recap of what happened in the latest episode of "Goblin Slayer." The fourth episode featured the first quest taken on by Goblin Slayer's current party - High Elf Archer (voiced by Nao Toyama), Dwarf Shaman (voiced by Yuichi Nakamura), Lizard Priest (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita) and Priestess (voiced by Yui Ogura).
Together, the group headed to Elven Lands, and upon their arrival, they found a room of vile refuse with an imprisoned elf. They immediately rescued the said elf, then, proceeded through the ruins.
Much to Goblin Slayer, High Elf Archer, Dwarf Shaman, Lizard Priest and Priestess' surprised, there is a large group of goblins sleeping at the bottom of a tower. They easily eliminated the goblins using their various abilities and powers.
However, the leader of the goblins, an ogre, awoke from sleeping and attacked the group with his might. The monster quickly overwhelmed them by casting a powerful Fireball.
Thankfully, Priestess used the Protection miracle to protect herself and the rest of the group from the said attack. As the intense battle continued, Goblin Slayer can be seen suffering a major injury from the ogre, which left him disabled.
Due to this, High Elf Archer, Dwarf Shaman, Lizard Priest, and Priestess continued to fight the ogre, but they were unable to even injure it. Soon afterward, Goblin Slayer made a slight recovery and decided to pull out the ace hidden in his sleeve - successfully killing the ogre.
Now, the spoilers and predictions suggest that "Goblin Slayer" episode 5 will pick up right from the events of the previous episode and will feature Goblin Slayer, High Elf Archer, Dwarf Shaman, Lizard Priest and Priestess traveling back to his hometown. There, they will luckily have enough time to rest and regain their strength.
After three days of complete rest, Goblin Slayer will continue with his daily routine - he will help his childhood friend, Cow Girl (voiced by Yuka Iguchi) in her shipments and other activities on the farm. Later that day, the duo will reportedly have romantic moments under the stars. Suddenly, a new Goblin Force comes their way.
"Goblin Slayer" episode 5, titled "Adventures and Daily Life," is set to air on Nov. 4.
