One year after announcing that he and singer-songwriter FKA Twigs called off their engagement and split, Robert Pattinson has reportedly jumped back into the dating pool. The 32-year-old actor-model is said to be dating actress Lily Collins.
It came to light when the latest issue of NW Magazine (via Gossip Cop) claimed that there is a romance brewing between Robert Pattinson and Lily Collins. This after the duo allegedly cozied up together during the 2018 Go Campaign Charity Gala at the City Market Social House in Los Angeles last Oct. 20.
During the star-studded event, Lily Collins dazzled in an off-the-shoulder mini-green dress paired with strappy black heels. Robert Pattinson, on the other hand, looked dapper in a navy suit and tie.
"[Robert Pattinson and Lily Collins] were whispering in each other's ears and cracking jokes," an unnamed source told NW Magazine, before noting how Lily Collins previously auditioned to play Robert Pattinson's love interest in the popular "Twilight" franchise. "Maybe this romance was meant to be all along," the source added.
However, a different source close to Lily Collins has shrugged off the dating rumors, saying it was entirely baseless. The source also clarified that the "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" actress and Robert Pattinson are just good friends.
It is also worth noting that Robert Pattinson and Lily Collins co-hosted the 2018 Go Campaign Charity Gala. They were joined at the event by The Mick's Kaitlin Olson, Sean Penn, and daughter Dylan, Evangeline Lilly, Gina Gershon, Camille Rowe, and Sofia Boutella.
"I'm incredibly honored to raise funds and awareness for orphans and children around the world... and acknowledge...local heroes who have helped change their lives," Lily Collins said in an interview with the charity, as quoted by Metro UK.
In other related news, Robert Pattinson has been tapped to headline Robert Eggers' black-and-white dark fantasy horror film "The Lighthouse" and the upcoming British-American-Australian epic historical drama film, "The King."
He is also busy filming Ciro Guerra's "Waiting for the Barbarians," an upcoming drama film, based on the novel of the same name by J.M. Coetzee. He will be joined by Mark Rylance, Johnny Depp, Gana Bayarsaikhan and Joe Alwyn.
Lily Collins, on the other hand, will play the lifelong love and later wife of author J. R. R. Tolkien (Nicholas Hoult) in the upcoming biographical drama film "Tolkien." She will also star opposite Zac Efron in Joe Berlinger's upcoming thriller film, "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile."
