Fans of EXO, rejoice!  The 9-member South Korean-Chinese boy band - Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun - have topped their own record with their upcoming album "Don't Mess Up My Tempo."

According to SM Entertainment, the pre-orders for "Don't Mess up My Tempo," which will drop on Nov. 2, have already reached 1,104,617 as of Oct. 30. It has surpassed the previous pre-order record of 807,235 set by their fourth studio album, "The War."

"With preorders surpassing the 1.1 million mark, EXO broke its record, vividly reminding people of the high popularity they are enjoying," SM Entertainment said in a statement obtained by Yonhap News Agency.

SM Entertainment further added that EXO will perform the album's title track "Tempo" during the Nov. 2 broadcast of KBS 2TV's "Music Bank," just around the same time the full album drops.

EXO will also hold a special showcase - dubbed "EXO Comeback Showcase 'Tempo'" - on the same day at the Paradise City's Plaza on Yeongjongdo Island, according to Soompi. It will be broadcasted live through SMTOWN's Naver V Live channel.

During the comeback showcase, Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai and Sehun will perform several songs - including "Sign," "Ooh La La La," "Gravity" and "With You" -from their fifth studio album, "Don't Mess up My Tempo." They will also share some behind-the-scenes anecdotes from the preparations of the said album.

To make things more exciting, EXO-CBX - Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin - will also have their own travel reality show titled "Travel the World on EXO's Ladder. However, there is no word yet on when will it premiere.

EXO is one of the most popular K-pop boy bands in the industry today. Since they debuted in 2012, the group have won numerous awards in South Korea and China. They were also the first K-pop group to have their song played on the famous Dubai Fountain Show.

"It has been a very interesting and surprising experience so far," the group's leader Suho, whose real name is Kim Jun-Myeon, told City Times at the press conference. "We have never visited the Middle Eastern region before, but we are very grateful that fans here are giving us love and support, and look forward to doing more performances in this area."

Following their immense success, the Korean Mint Corporation awarded EXO with an official commemorative medals in recognition to their contribution to the global spread of Korean culture.
