Things are not going well for Kurotsuchi (voiced by Hana Takeda). The spoilers for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 80 suggest Lord Ku will get rid of the Tsuchikage in an ambush.
Before that, here is a quick recap of what happened in the latest episode of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations." The 79th episode started with KoKuyo (voiced by Masashi Tamaki) confronting Boruto Uzumaki (voiced by Yūko Sanpei), Sarada Uchiha (voiced by Kokoro Kikuchi) and Shikadai Nara (voiced by Kensho Ono).
After an intense and grueling battle, KoKuyo drove Boruto Uzumaki, Sarada Uchiha, and Shikadai Nara into a corner. Just then, Chōchō Akimichi (voiced by Ryoko Shiraishi) and Inojin Yamanaka (voiced by Atsushi Abe) suddenly arrived and attacked him.
Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha, then, left the scene to catch up with Mitsuki (voiced by Ryūichi Kijima). Shikadai Nara, Chōchō Akimichi and Inojin Yamanaka, on the other hand, were left behind to deal with Kokuyo.
However, Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha were stopped by Sekei's (voiced by Takehiro Urao) Explosive Clay. Much to the latter's surprised, Boruto Uzumaki summoned Garaga (voiced by Masashi Nogawa) to aid.
Sekiei prepared a counter-attack, but his body suddenly gave out in strength. Luckily, he was saved by the timely arrival of Mitsuki.
Now, the spoilers for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 80 suggest Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha will convince Mitsuki to return to Konoha with them, but to no avail. Instead, the latter will make his intentions clear of joining the artificial men by striking them with his Lightning Release.
At the same time, Kurotsuchi goes around the town looking for her sick grandfather, Ōnoki of Both Scales (voiced by Tomomichi Nishimura). Suddenly, Lord Ku and his Akuta monsters will attack her.
"Mitsuki refuses to return to the village with Boruto and the others, and instead wish to continue with Kokuyō's group," the "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 79 synopsis reads (via Comic Book). "During this, Sekiei's become more ill, and his condition also worsens. In order to help the suffering Sekiei, Kokuyō heads in the direction of their comrades, and during this time Sekiei says to Mitsuki 'I want you to teach me about humans.' Around this time, Kurotsuchi, the Fourth Tsuchikage, is looking after her grandfather, Ōnoki, whose health is in shamble, when she is attacked by a group of unidentified people."
"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 80 will air on Nov. 4.
