Fans of "Terius Behind Me," rejoice! The MBC romantic-comedy television series, starring So Ji Sub and Jung In Sun, has secured the top spot last Nov. 1 with a nationwide rating of 10.3 percent.
"Terius Behind Me" retained its top spot in the rating war against SBS' "Heart Surgeons" and KBS' "The Ghost Detective." The MBC series' 23rd and 24th episodes that aired on Nov. 1, Thursday, has posted a nationwide viewership rating of 8.5 percent and 10.3 percent, according to AGB Nielsen.
Taking the second spot was SBS' "Heart Surgeons," which stars Go Soo, Um Ki Joon and Seo Ji Hye as Park Tae Soo, Choi Suk Han, and Yoon Soo Yeon. The latest episodes of the said medical TV series, which revolves around the thoracic surgery department of a hospital, scored 7.6 percent and 8.4 percent in viewership ratings.
Rounding out the top three was KBS' "The Ghost Detective" starring Choi Daniel, Park Eun Bin and Lee Ji Ah. The series' penultimate and finale episodes recorded only 2.3 percent and 2.1 percent, respectively.
"Terius Behind Me's" relentless increase in viewership ratings is credited to its unique story content, ensemble cast and So Ji Sub and Jung In Sun's undeniable on-screen chemistry. In fact, the show recently released new behind-the-scenes stills of the two having fun as they film together.
In the stills obtained by Soompi, Kim Bon, also known as Terius (So Ji Sub), can be seen sporting a colorful attire one would usually see on an elderly woman in the countryside. He perfects the look with a basket of tangerines at his side and a visor on his head.
Go Ae Rin (Jung In Sun), on the other hand, transforms into a high school student. Not much has been said about it, but the new behind-the-scenes stills have given viewers a glimpse of what's to come.
Helmed by Park Sang Hun ("Romance Full of Life" and "A Mere Life"), "Terius Behind Me" follows the unlikely alliance of a single mother, Go Ae Rin and Kim Bon, a renowned black ops agent at the National Intelligence Service (NIS). Together, the two get to the bottom of a conspiracy.
Also starring in "Terius Behind Me" are Son Ho Jun as Jin Young Tae, Im Se Mi as Yoo Ji Yeon, Um Hyo Sup as Shim Woo Cheol, Seo Yi Sook as Kwon Yeong Sil and Kim Sung Joo as Ro Da Woo. It airs every Wednesday and Thursday on MBC.
