The long wait is almost over! With only a few weeks left before it opens in theaters, "Dragon Ball Super: Broly" has released an intense and action-packed final trailer - previewing what's to come.

On Nov. 7, Tuesday, Funimation has released a new full-length trailer for the much-awaited anime science fantasy martial arts film, "Dragon Ball Super: Broly." The almost two-minute preview shows new clips of Broly (voiced by Bin Shimada/Vic Mignogna) in his berserker state, while several other characters - Beerus (voiced by Kōichi Yamadera/Jason Douglas), Whis (voiced by Masakazu Morito/Ian Sinclair), and Piccolo (voiced by Toshio Furukawa/Christopher Sabat) - flash through.

The titular character can also be seen wiping the floor with both Son Goku (voiced by Masako Nozawa/Sean Schemmel), and Vegeta (voiced by Ryō Horikawa/Christopher Sabat) in their Super Saiyan God forms.

This comes shortly after manga creator Akira Toriyama discussed what fans could expect on "Dragon Ball Super: Broly." He said the upcoming film takes place after the Universe Survival Saga depicted in the ongoing television series "Dragon Ball Super."

"You'll get to see fierce combat, but also the encounter between Goku, Vegeta, and Broly," the 63-year-old renowned manga artist said in an interview, as quoted by Newsweek, adding the film will also feature the Frieza Army and the history of the Saiyans. "[It] ends up having a major connection to everything. The story content turns out to be very large scale and dramatic," he added.

Akira Toriyama went ahead to reveal how the production on "Dragon Ball Super: Broly" started. After learning that the character Broly is still very popular not only in Japan and overseas, he and one of his editor came up with an idea to incorporate him into the "Dragon Ball Super" series."

"I went ahead and watched the movies from back then, and I felt this could be quite interesting once I got right to work trying my hand at a story," he recalled. "While keeping in mind Broly's classic image so fondly in the more fascinating Broly."

"Dragon Ball Super: Broly" will also see Frieza (voiced by Ryūsei Nakao/Christopher Ayres), Trunks (voiced by Takeshi Kusao/Alexis Tipton), Goten (Masako Nozawa/Kara Edwards), Paragus (Katsuhisa Hoki/Dameon Clarke), Nappa (Tetsu Inada/Phil Parsons), Raditz (Shigeru Chiba/Justin Cook), and Shenron (Ryuzaburo Otomo/Christopher Sabat), and Bulma (Aya Hisakawa Monica Rial). It is set to open in theaters across Japan on Dec. 14.
