f(x) member Krystal, whose real name is Chrystal Soo Jung, is hoping to work again with actor Song Seung Heon, her co-star in the recently concluded OCN television series "Player."
In a recent interview with Seoul Economic Daily, as cited by Soompi, Krystal thanked her "Player" co-stars Song Seung Heon, Lee Si Eon, and Tae Won Suk for helping her become comfortable with her character, Chae Ah Ryung. She also hopes to work with them again in another project in the near future.
"It was really nice to be together, and as time went by, we became like siblings," the 24-year-old singer and actress said. "Thanks to them, I was able to act comfortably without being nervous. I hope there will be another opportunity where we can act together," she added.
Krystal went ahead to share the most memorable scene of the OCN action crime drama. For her, the most memorable experience was the car chase scene and her character's one-of-a-kind door-unlocking skill.
While she had fun filming the intense car chase scene, Krystal admitted she was concerned about her expression when driving. She explained: "When Chae Ah Ryung is driving, she is usually in a tense and dangerous situation, but on the other hand, she seems to be enjoying it. I was trying to make sure that her anxiousness and excitement were portrayed well."
Before the interview wraps up, Krystal also took the chance to express her since gratitude to viewers for their love and support. The 14-episode OCN drama wrapped up its run with a nationwide rating of 6.2 percent.
In "Player," four talented individuals - Kang Ha Ri / Choi Soo Hyuk (Song Seung Heon), Cha Ah Ryung, Lim Byung Min (Lee Si Eon), Do Jin Woong (Tae Won Suk) -team up with a righteous prosecutor (Kim Won Hae) to solve a series of crimes.
Though Krystal is glad she met the entire cast and staff "Player," she is now ready to take a step forward. She will star next opposite Zhang Yixing in the upcoming Chinese-South Korean romantic comedy film, "Unexpected Love," as per The Korea Times.
In "Unexpected Love," Krystal will play Fei Yan, a Korean dancer, who falls in love with a Chinese singer named Han Bin (Zhang Yixing). The film also stars Wang Yibo, Park In Hwan, Tian Xin, Li Qin, Zhu Shengyi, and Shu Ting Zhao. No release date has been set yet.
