With only a few weeks before its premiere, fans of tvN's upcoming drama "Memories of the Alhambra" were already excited about what are the possible scenes might happen on the series. The new "suspense-romance" drama is a story about Yoo Jin Woo (Hyun Bin), a CEO of an investment company who went to Span and ended up staying at an old hostel, and Jung Hee Joo (Park Shin Hye), the owner of the hostel and a former classical guitarist who had to give up her dream to provide for her family.
But aside from Hyun Bin and Park Shin Hye, EXO's Chanyeol will also be part of the Memories of the Alhambra where he will be playing the role of Jung Se Joo - a genius programmer and the younger brother of Jung Hee Joo. The series will follow the unbelievable journey of each character while being swept away in a series of mysterious events happened at the old hostel.

Chanyeol's real character
The new teaser shows the first glimpse of Chanyeol's character, raising a few questions on what will be his real character and story in the series. In the teaser, Jung Se Joo calls Yoo Jin Woo late at night through a public phone booth while frantically telling him they should meet in Granada or wait for him at the Bonita Hostel. It's obvious that he's in a rush and seems like someone is chasing him, leaving fans curious why he's furiously running or if indeed he's being chased by someone.
Strange magic on Hyun Bin's character
Yoo Jin Woo is a modern businessman, but there's strange magic that surrounds him. The teaser released last week showed Hyun Bin's character had an encounter with an armored knight likely stepped out of the Middle Ages. He's involved in a gunfight on a train, as well as a sword fight. Yoo Jin Woo also revealed the reason why he went to Granada is that he wanted to see "magic," making viewers think what kind of magic he wanted to discover and what led him to Spain.
The red veil of Park Shin Hye
Most pictures of Park Shin Hye's character showed she was either wearing casual or modern clothes, so viewers became curious with the new glimpse of her wearing romantic white dress and mysterious red veil. Some fans even believed that woman in the red veil wasn't Jung Hee Joo, but rather, someone who looked like her.
Memories of the Alhambra will air its first episode on December 1 at 9 p.m. KST.
