MBC's "Terius behind Me" wrapped up its run last night, Nov. 15 with an impressive rating of 11 percent. Following its successful run, lead actor So Ji Sub has thanked fans for their love and support.
In the 32-episode romantic-comedy television series, So Ji Sub played the role of a legendary black ops agent named Kim Bon (also known as Terius). He goes into hiding after a failed mission costs him both the woman he loves and his career.
"It's been two years since I did a drama," the 41-year-old actor said in an interview with iMBC, as quoted by Soompi. "It was an honor to meet good actors, good staff members, and to convey warm stories... I'd like to thank all the staff members and actors who were with 'Terius Behind Me' from the hot summer to winter."
So Ji Sub went ahead to bid farewell to his character, noting how happy he was to have met a cool role like Kim Bon. He, then, expressed his sincere gratitude to all the viewers for supporting the MBC series ever since it premiered last Sept. 27.
Aside from So Ji Sub, lead actress Jung In Sun - who starred as Go Ae Rin in the MBC series - also thanked director Park Sang Hun and screenwriter Oh Ji Young for giving her the opportunity to star in such a meaningful drama. She said she was able to effectively portray her character due to everyone's support and encouragement.
Son Ho Jun ("Go Back Couple"), who played the role of a former con man named Jin Young Tae, said portraying the villainous character for the past months was a memorable and fun experience. The 34-year-old actor and singer also admitted he would miss the people he worked with on the romantic-comedy series.
Lastly, Im Se Mi - who starred as an elite agent named Yoo Ji Yeon - took a nostalgic look back at filming. The actress said she always received enjoyable and happy energy during filming, thanks to her co-stars and the entire staff members.
As of press time, there is no word yet on So Ji Sub's next project, but fans can check him out in Lee Jang Hoon's drama film "Be with You." It follows a man, Young Woo Jin (So Ji Sub), who takes care of his son (Kim Ji Hwan) alone after his wife, Soo A (Son Ye Jin), passed away. His life turns upside down when his wife suddenly reappears, but all her memories have disappeared.
