Will "Terius Behind Me" season 2 happen? This is the question that lingers on many fans' minds after the 32-episode action-packed comedy series, starring Jung In Sun and So Ji Sub, ended on a cliffhanger.
"Terius Behind Me" follows a widowed woman, Go Ae Rin (Jung In Sun), and a former National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent, Kim Bon (So Ji Sub), as they get to the bottom of a huge political conspiracy.
In the finale episode, which aired last Nov. 15, Kim Bon managed to put former NIS head, Shim Woo Cheol (Um Hyo Sup), and Yoon Choon Sang (Kim Byeong Ok), the manager of Korea's Cornerstone and Chief Presidential Secretary, in prison with the help of fellow agent, Ro Da Woo (Kim Sung Joo) and deputy director, Kwon Yeon Sil (Seo Yi Sook).
The scene, then, shifted to one year later where Kim Bon flew all the way to Warsaw, Poland to eliminate K (Cho Tae Kwan). Soon afterward, he met up with Go Ae Rin in Namsan Tower and enjoyed a glass of mojitos.
In the midst of their catching up session, Kwon Yeon Sil informed Kim Bon and Go Ae Rin about their next mission. They should pretend to be a married couple and leave for New York City as soon as possible.
Due to the said cliffhanger finale, many fans cannot help but wonder whether there will be another season of "Terius Behind Me." Luckily, Jung In Sun shed light on the matter during a sit-down interview held at Nonhyeon-dong in Gangnam.
"I had a hard time filming so I'm very grateful to you just for telling me about ['Terius Behind Me'] season 2," Jung In Sun said when asked about potential "Terius Behind Me" season 2, as quoted by Hello Kpop. "It would be fun to paint scenes in New York... The timing will be good at any time."
Jung In Sun went ahead to thank all those who watched and supported the MBC series, remarking she felt extremely grateful for the warm love they received. She also expressed her sincere gratitude to her co-star, So Ji Sub, for always helping her since day one.
"So Ji Sub is always there to help me," Jung In Sun added. "It was a huge boost... He is very flexible in acting. If I act like him, I would succeed."
Also starring in "Terius Behind Me" are Son Ho Jun as Jin Young Tae, Im Se Mi as Yoo Ji Yeon, Kim Yeo Jin as Shim Eun Ha, Jung Si Ah as Bong Sun Mi and Kang Ki Young as Kim Sang Ryeol.
