Fans plea to see Lee Sung Kyung in person does not fall on deaf ears. The 28-year-old actress and model just announced her first ever overseas fan meeting tour.

The exciting news came to light when YG Entertainment announced on Nov. 22, Thursday that Lee Sung Kyung would hold her first ever overseas fan meeting tour, dubbed "2019 Be Joyful," in Taipei, Taiwan on Jan. 19, 2019. It will start at 6 PM (local time) at the Syntrend 5F Clapper Studio.

Since it marks her first overseas fan meeting since her debut, Lee Sung Kyung has been very hands-on with the preparations, as per The Kpop Herald. She will reportedly spice up the upcoming event by showing different sides of her that have not been known to many, question-and-answer segment and stage games.

She will also showcase her talent in singing and dancing. More in-depth details about the much-awaited "2019 Be Joyful" fan meeting event will be announced on a later date.

Lee Sung Kyung, who started her entertainment career as a model, made her acting debut with a supporting role in the 2014 SBS drama "It's Okay, That's Love." Since then, she played various supporting roles in several television series, including the MBC's "Queen's Flower," tvN's "Cheese in the Trap," and SBS' "Doctors."

She, then, landed her first leading role in the 2016 coming-of-age sports drama, "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" along with Nam Joo Hyuk. In 2018, she starred opposite actor Lee Sang Yoon in the fantasy romance drama, "About Time."

For her next project, Lee Sung Kyung will be teaming up with veteran actress Ra Mi Ra ("The Last Princess" and "Seondal: The Man Who Sells the River") for an action-packed comedy film, "Girl Cops" (tentative title), according to Soompi.

In the upcoming film, Lee Sung Kyung will play a rookie detective, Ji Hye, who gets assigned to work in the public service center after getting in trouble. There, she meets a legendary ace detective, Mi Young (Ra Mi Ri), who now works a desk job after getting married.

They will be joined by Girls' Generation's Sooyoung (whose real name is Choi Soo Young), Yoon Sang Hyun ("Shopping King Louie"), Wi Ha Jun ("Something in the Rain", Joo Woo Jae ("Fluttering Warning"), Yeom Hye Ran ("Lawless Lawyer"), Kim Do Wan ("Cheese in the Trap") and Kang Hong Seok ("What's Wrong With Secretary Kim"). No release date has been set yet.
