"Mary Poppins" fans need only a few days to prep as their favorite movie will once again hit the block screen before this year ends. Starring the gorgeous Emily Blunt as Mary Poppins, the sequel of 1964's Julie Andrews "Mary Poppins will be releasing the magic of love by December 19.

Before the big day happens, Blunt was given a chance to showcase some of her experiences while she was doing the movie. During an interview with ET Online, she opened her heart out as she talks more about her role.

Though she was considered as the best person to fit the role, Blunt admits portraying it isn't as easy as it seems. The 35 years old actress shared she's pressured to give her character a unique touch far from what Andrews has done with the original film.

The actress shared that given this reason she decided not to watch the original version of "Mary Poppins" before they started filming the sequel. She said she doesn't want to be influenced by how Andrews has impersonated their character. All she wanted was to give her character a new flavor. "I kind of knew I might be swayed by what Julie did," she added.

Furthermore, the English-American actress said, she doesn't want to disappoint everyone who's looking forward for the movie especially her fans. "No one wants to see me do a cheap impersonation of Julie Andrews, you know?" she exclaimed.

The sequel, which was made available 25 years after the original was released, will still revolve on the Banks children, except that, the kids have already grown up.

Blunt's husband, John Krasinski, has initially watched the sequel with the actress. When asked about the highlights of his experience, Emily started to share that her husband became very emotional as he "just cried and cried." All throughout the movie, "he kept saying like 'What's happening to me?'"

The mother of two also shared, the part that for her has touched her husband so much is the scene where Ben Whishaw had started singing about his broken heart and the experience he had when he lost his wife. From that very moment, she saw how his husband let go of his emotions and has been captivated with the heart-warming story of the movie.

Aside from Emily Blunt, the sequel "Mary Poppins Returns" will also feature other artists such as Lin-Manuel Miranda, Emily Mortimer, Julie Walters, Ben Whishaw, and Colin Firth, as posted on Rotten Tomatoes.
