Viewers of tvN's "Encounter" should brace themselves for a heartwarming episode. The popular drama series just shared a new still photo, which teases Park Bo Gum and Song Hye Kyo's characters' blossoming romance.

On Tuesday, Dec. 11, tvN shared a still photo for the upcoming fifth episode of "Encounter." In the photo, Cha Soo Hyun (Song Hye Kyo) and Kim Jin Hyuk (Park Bo Gum) can be seen sharing a peaceful and affectionate walk together.

"The place where Cha Soo Hyun and Kim Jin Hyuk are walking will become a special location for them," the production staff said in a statement obtained by Korean news outlet Sports DongA, as cited by Soompi. "We hope people will anticipate the romance that continues to grow between the two people," the production staff added.

This comes just a week after the fourth episode of "Encounter" ended with a bang. The said episode, which aired last Dec. 6, showed Kim Jin Hyuk admitting in front of the employees and executives that he was the man involved in the dating rumor with chief executive officer (CEO) Cha Soo Hyun.

Kim Jin Hyuk and Cha Soo Hyun, then, have a brief conversation telepathically. He told her to stop worrying as she will no longer be alone moving forward. The episode, then, ended with an image of a boy and a girl still holding hands, but the snakes around them start disappearing one by one.

The said fourth episode garnered a national television rating of 9.26 percent with a peak at 11.47 percent, according to AGB Nielsen. The romantic-drama series' steady increment in viewership ratings is attributed to its promising storyline and undeniable on-screen chemistry of Park Bo Gum and Song Hye Kyo.

"Encounter" is also directed by Park Shin Woo, whose previous works include the 2016 romantic-comedy drama "Jealousy Incarnate" and 2014's "Angel Eyes." Also starring in the tvN drama are Jang Seung Jo as Jung Woo Seok, Moon Sung Keun as Cha Jong Hyun, Nam Ki Ae as Jin Mi Ok, Ko Chang Seok as Nam Myeong Sik, Kwak Sun Young as Jang Mi Jin, Cha Hwa Yeon as Chairman Kim, Shin Jung Keun as Kim Jang Soo, Baek Ji Won as Jo Yeon Ja, P.O. as Kim Jin Myung, Kim Joo Hu as Lee Dae Chan and Jeon So Nee as Jo Hye In.

It airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:30 PM (KST) on cable network tvN.
