"Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" stars Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na will be back together again for a brand new tvN series tentatively titled "Touch Your Heart."
On Monday, Dec. 17, tvN released photos from the first script reading for "Touch Your Heart." In the photo, Lee Dong Wook, Yoo In Na, Lee Jun Hyuk, Shin Dong Wook, Park Ji Hwan, Shim Hyung Tak, Son Sung Yoon, Jang So Yeon, and Oh Jung Se gathered together for the first time to sit down and go through the script.
In the midst of the script reading, producing director Park Joon Hwa (whose previous works include the hit dramas "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim" and "Because This Is My First Life") assured everyone that he will work hard to create a drama that lives up to its name and touches people's hearts.
In response, Lee Dong Wook said he would do his best to leave a mark on tvN in 2019. Yoo In Na, on the other hand, said she hopes to make a happy drama together with the help of her fellow cast members and the entire staff.
Along with this, the crucial plot points and in-depth details of each character have also been revealed. The new tvN drama, based on the web novel of the same name by KakaoPage, follows the romance between a top actress and a prickly lawyer.
Lee Dong Wook plays a workaholic elite lawyer, Kwon Jung Rok, who always wins his cases and cares deeply about his firm's reputation. His life turns upside down when a top actress, Oh Jin Shim / Oh Yoon Seo (Yoo In Na), disguises as his secretary after losing her fame due to a scandal.
They will be joined by Shin Dong Wook as Kim Se Won, Shim Hyung Tak as Choi Yoon Hyuk, Lee Jun Hyeok as Yeon Jun Suk, Son Sung Yoon as Yoo Yeo Reum, Jang So Yeon as Yang Eun Ji, Park Kyung Hye as Dan Moon Hee and Kim Hee Jung as Kim Hae Young.
"The entire cast, including Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na, showed great chemistry from the first script reading," the production staff said in a statement obtained by Soompi. "PD Park Joon Hwa and the staff couldn't stop smiling as they watched over the actors, who fell into their roles easily. We will create a drama that warms viewers' hearts this cold winter, so please anticipate it."
"Touch Your Heart" will premiere in January 2019 on cable network tvN.
