Demi Lovato is back in the dating scene. The 26-year-old singer-actress is said to be happily dating clothing designer Henry Levy, but their romance is reportedly worrying her family and friends.
This after a source claimed to Radar Online that Demi Lovato has been shutting out her friends and even certain family members since she and the 27-year-old clothing designer arrived back in Los Angeles after spending New Year's Eve together in Aspen, Colorado.
"She is not playing her recovery well right now," the unnamed source said. "Demi is so head over heels in love with this guy, so she thinks, that she is blind to anyone's criticism or suggestion... she is spending all of her time with him and claims that they are each other's sober companion when, in fact, everyone thinks they are going to be each other's downfall."
The source went ahead to say that Demi Lovato's mother, Dianna Hart, is at wit's end with her daughter's blooming romance with Henry Levy. Her mother allegedly worries that her newfound relationship may lead her down the wrong path once again.
It also does not help that Henry Levy currently has an open lawsuit against him. According to the filed court documents, his former employee Brendan Thompson accused his company, Enfants Riches Déprimés, of being in involved in an illegal course of conduct.
The illegal course of conduct involved stealing money from family, friends, clients, vendors and various third parties, by authorizing and performing fraudulent credit card transactions. The clothing designer has also been accused of drug use, fraud, racist remarks and failure to compensate employees for overtime work.
As of press time, the case remains ongoing. Henry Levy, on the other hand, has remained mum on the matter.
It can be recalled Demi Lovato, and Henry Levy's brewing romance first came to light in early November 2018 after they were snapped out at dinner at Matsuhisa restaurant in Beverly Hills, California.
A month later, Demi Lovato and Henry Levy were once again photographed kissing on the lips outside the Nobu sushi restaurant in Malibu. Despite that, the two insisted that they are just simply friends and nothing more.
According to a different source (via E! News), Henry Levy has been helping Demi Lovato through her recovery and serving as her sober companion. The source added that the singer is currently busy focusing on her health, and has no plans to go back to the dating scene yet.
