tvN's "Touch Your Heart" will not air until February, but producing director (PD) Park Joon Hwa is already spilling all of the tea about what fans can expect from the upcoming romantic comedy television series.
One of which is the possible special appearance of several actors from the popular romantic comedy-drama, "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim," which he also directed. According to PD Park Joon Hwa, he is still in negotiations with the said actors to make a cameo appearance in the upcoming series.
Nonetheless, viewers can look forward to an unexpected cameo in the pilot episode of "Touch Your Heart." The identity of the actor has yet to be revealed.
"There is a handsome actor appearing in the first episode of 'Touch Your Heart' whom I'd like to resemble if I were to be born again," PD Park Joon Hwa said in a recent interview (via Soompi). "It was my first time working with him, and it was truly delightful. Please look forward to it," he added.
PD Park Joon Hwa also revealed why he had chosen Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na as his two leads. He said he is confident that the two Hallyu stars - who previously co-starred in the hit 2016-2017 drama "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" - will warm the heart of the viewers with their undeniable on-screen chemistry and superb acting.
In addition to that, "Touch Your Heart" features a refreshing storyline that will show how lawyers - Kwon Jung Rok (Lee Dong Wook), Kim Se Won (Shin Dong Wook), Choi Yoon Hyuk (Shim Hyung Tak) - treat their clients with sincerity.
It will also feature a top star, Oh Jin Shim / Oh Yoon Seo (Yoo In Na), who ends up working at a law firm under pretenses. Together with Kwon Jung Rok, she meets and helps the firm's clients with a sincere heart.
Also starring in the upcoming romantic comedy TV series are Park Kyung Hye as Attorney Dan Moon Hee, Son Sung Yoon as Prosecutor Yoo Yeo Reum, Jang So Yeon as Secretary Yang Eun Ji, Lee Jun Hyeok as Yeon Jun Suk, and Kim Hee Jung as Kim Hae Young, as per Han Cinema.
"Touch Your Heart" is set to premiere on Feb. 6 on cable network tvN. It will take over the Wednesday-Thursday 9:30 PM (KST) time slot currently occupied by Song Hye Kyo and Park Bo Gum starrer "Encounter."
