Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 Episode 5, titled "Saints of Imperfection," will be about the saving of Sylvia Tilly (Mary Wiseman). Everyone will do their best to rescue Tilly, and it may even bring a dead character to life.

"Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) and the crew navigate a dangerous alien landscape in a race against time to save Tilly's life, but Stamets (Anthony Rapp) is not at all prepared for what they find in the process," Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 Episode 5's official synopsis read. "Section 31 is assigned to help track down Spock (Ethan Peck), much to Pike's (Anson Mount) dismay."

Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 Episode 5 preview gave a glimpse of the mission to save Tilly after she gets trapped in the mycelium network. If the mission fails, everyone's lives will be in danger and the whole ship, too, can be destroyed.

In the new promotional images released by CBS, it showed the return of Dr. Hugh Culber (Wilson Cruz) in Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 Episode 5. The Starfleet officer died in the previous season, but he managed to make an appearance from time to time as a ghost.

According to IBTimes, Stamets has been hinting on Culber's return in the previous episodes. Fans will see Culber as a shadow of the man he used to be in Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 Episode 5. In the promotional images, he can be seen sitting alone wearing ripped clothes and a long beard.

As Stamets will be joining Burnham in the mission to rescue Tilly in Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 Episode 5, will he be reunited to Culber? From the looks of it, Stamets is not yet prepared for what he is going to see.

In an interview with Anthony Rapp, via TrekMovie, the 47-year-old star talked about the return of Culber in Stark Trek: Discovery Season 2 Episode 5. "We knew it was going to happen, but I was very happy for him in the way that it happens and what he gets to do with that story, what I get to do with that story," he said.

Rapp also teased Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 Episode 5 would be "very, very" satisfying and rich because of the way writers brought it to life. "If this is going to happen - that he comes back in a way - the manner that he comes back, it has to have been earned. It has to be meaningful," he continued to say.

Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 Episode 5, titled "Saints of Imperfection," would be out on Wednesday, February 14, on CBS All-Access at 8:30 p.m. Unfortunately, the show is exclusive to the said network, so fans have to keep their subscriptions to see what will happen to Tilly and the rest of the group.
