Netflix is set to debut The Order on its streaming platform. The show created by Dennis Heaton (Ghost Wars) and Shelley Eriksen (Continuum) is expected to match Netflix's other supernatural programs like The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Stranger Things.

The Order will have all 10 episodes of the first season out on streaming site by Friday, March 7, at 12:00 midnight. Each episode will be an hour-long drama.

The series follows a young man named Jack Morton (played by Jake Manley) who joins a secret society at his college, Belgrave University. Known as Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose, a.k.a. The Order, Jack's world changes as he is pushed into a world of monsters and magic of this secret group.

However, as Jack becomes more engaged in the activities of the secret cult, he also learns about family secrets and the dark arts, as per Variety. Netflix released a teaser to The Order which introduces Jack to his secret group.

Manley's previous TV credits include Heroes Reborn, iZombie, and American Gods. He's also in the movie A Dog's Journey. The actor will be joined by Sarah Grey who will play Alyssa, another student from Belgrave who learns that Jack is interested in The Order. She warns him of the dangers of being part of this secret group. Grey has starred on Legends of Tomorrow and also appeared on shows like Lucifer, iZombie and Once Upon a Time

The series also stars Sam Trammell (True Blood), Max Martini (Revenge) and Matt Frewer (Orphan Black). Martini has a particularly crucial role as Edward Coventry, the Grand Magnus of the secret society.

Manley, a Canadian native, said in an interview with Inside Halton that he feels fortunate to be part of a Netflix series. After trying to gain serious opportunities in Hollywood, the actor's efforts finally paid off as he's now leading a show.

The 28-year-old actor said that his character in The Order is the story's moral compass. "He's like me in some ways and unlike me in enough ways that it was curious and fun to play," Manley said. "It was a real pleasure."

With The Order potentially becoming a Netflix hit, Manley said that he's still learning to adjust to his life in bustling Los Angeles after all these years since it can be very overwhelming. But he also said he loves living in the city because the weather is still warm and pleasant during the winter season.
