Jennifer Lawrence has reportedly found true love that she's thinking about quitting Hollywood for good. That's the premise of a new story about the Oscar-winning actress but is there any truth to it?

According to Us WeeklyLawrence's relationship with her fiancé Cooke Maroney is getting quite serious. The latter works as the director of the Gladstone art gallery in New York.

Lawrence, 28, and Maroney, 34, met through a mutual friend and have been dating since the spring of 2018. He proposed to her last February after nearly a year of being together.

Sources told the news outlet that Lawrence has quietly retired from Hollywood following her engagement. But Gossip Cop rebutted the report, citing that Lawrence has not quietly quit acting because of this relationship. Rather, she openly decided to take a break from Hollywood a year before she met the love of her life.

Curiously, another tabloid story about Lawrence's relationship with Maroney indicated that they are headed for Splitsville. According to New Women, Lawrence has made a lot of compromises for her guy that it's taking a toll on her. So, she's thinking about ending the relationship, the tabloid story cited.

Lawrence was allegedly seen crying in public at a hotel, while in a deep discussion with Maroney. But Daily Mail had photos to prove that the couple was not in the middle of an argument but were, in fact, having a date night. The two actually looked comfortable and relaxed as they enjoyed each other's company.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Today, Lawrence told Savannah Guthrie in 2017 that she has plans to "make pots" for at least two years because she hasn't accepted any movie projects since then. Though she meant it as a joke, Lawrence has indeed been seriously staying away from the limelight since and has been selective of what projects she has to do.

But Lawrence will soon be making the movie circuit rounds since she has a new movie coming up. Though filmed several months before, X-Men: Dark Phoenix is just about to hit theaters and she will likely be promoting this in talk shows.

Lawrence is also signed up for the movie Bad Blood. She will play Elizabeth Holmes, the Silicon Valley CEO of the embattled company Theranos. According to People, the actress has been attached to the project since 2016 but the movie is still in its pre-production stages.
