There are more disruptions and complications on Jane the Virgin season 5 episode 4 now that Jason (played by Brett Dier) has regained his memory as Michael. Viewers saw the disheartening moment where he finally remembered his old life in the episode that aired last Wednesday, April 10.

Now more stuck in her complicated situation than ever before, Jane (played by Gina Rodriguez) will turn to Petra (played by Yael Grobglas) for no-holds-barred advice on Jane the Virgin season 5 episode 4. She knows that Petra will always give her a straight answer especially since she's seeking clarity about her situation.

In the last episode of Jane the Virgin season 5, Jason told Jane that he's just gonna have to move back to Montana. Since nothing worked no matter how hard Jane tried to help him recall his life as Michael, he thought it would be better to pack up and go back to the life he has come to know for the last few years or so.

But right after Jason informed Jane of his plans to leave, his memory was suddenly triggered, and he became Michael again. Jane the Virgin creator Jennie Snyder Urman revealed to Buzzfeed News that there will be more disruptions moving forward now that Michael finally "woke up" from his amnesia.

Jane was supposed to be moving in and moving on with Rafael (played by Justin Baldoni) at the end of season 4, but then Rafael showed her that Michael has been alive and living as Jason after all these years. Urman said that Rafael would be right in the middle of this devastating situation when being with Jane has been what he has longed for. There's always a chance Jane could pick Michael over him.

"We love the moment where everything changes for our characters, and suddenly they're going to be in a huge muddy mess again and have to find their way out of it," Urman said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

Meanwhile, Jane the Virgin season 5 episode 4 will also focus on Petra and her relationship with JR (played by Rosario Dawson). If she helps Jane find clarity, Petra will also ask for advice from her about her same-sex relationship.

Xo (played by Andrea Navedo) has to be present at Mateo's grandparents' day, but this coincides with her chemotherapy.  Alba (played by Ivonne Coll), on the other hand, has her confusing relationship problems to deal with as well.

Jane the Virgin season 5 airs every Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. on The CW.
