Jane (played by Gina Rodriguez) is turning 30 years old on Jane the Virgin season 5 episode 5. Her father, Rogelio (played by Jaime Camil), has offered to throw her a unicorn party.

The upcoming episode, which airs on Wednesday, April 24, at 9:00 p.m. on The CW, will seemingly take a break from the love triangle between Jane, Rafael (played by Justin Baldoni) and Michael (played by Brett Dier). The episode synopsis made no mention of this dilemma and instead cited that Jane will also have a good conversation with her mentor so that she could get back to writing another book.

It's curious to know, however, if both Michael and Rafael will be at Jane's birthday party considering how she left things off between these two important men in her life in Jane the Virgin season 5 episode 4.

Rafael felt hurt when he found out that Jane didn't mail her divorce papers. Michael, on the other hand, wanted to respect Jane's new life but he still can't help but try to win his wife back.

Jane the Virgin season 5 has once again divided its viewers as it was in the first two seasons when Jane had to pick between Michael and Rafael. But as Rafael pointed out to her in the last episode, she always chose Michael thus he decided that they may have to break things off until Jane, once again, sorts out her feelings.

"Season 5 is incredible-it still twists and turns," Rodriguez told Vanity Fair when asked about what fans may still expect from the show's final run. "It's gonna give you that same beautiful roller coaster of a ride of emotions and experiences," the actress added. "It just really gives us a different scope of what Jane is going through and how we're gonna close this whole story up and lead you into the spin-off."

Naturally, the people behind Jane the Virgin won't disclose who Jane eventually decides to have her happy ending. Viewers have to be patient as the show completes its final season's run until the middle of June.

Meanwhile, theories abound that Jane the Virgin season 5 will also spring a big surprise in the finale by revealing the identity of the narrator. According to some fans on Reddit, he may be Mateo, Jane and Rafael's son, as a grown up. There are also theories stating that the narrator may be Jane herself or the character she created. After all, Jane is a master storyteller, and the voice doesn't necessarily have to match her identity.
