Viewers will have to wait a little while before they see what happens next to the members of Firehouse 51 as Chicago Fire Season 7 is taking a one-week break. To tide fans over until then, NBC has released the official synopsis of the next episode.
Before that, here's a quick recap of what happened in the latest episode of Chicago Fire Season 7. Episode 19, titled "Until the Weather Breaks," kicked off with a horrible storm wreaking havoc in Chicago. Apparently, the stormy weather made the team's job harder as it caused a power outage.
Suddenly, a young child mysteriously showed up at the station - not telling anyone who he was or how he got there. Due to this, the firefighters and paramedics worked together to search for answers about the child - deducing that something terrible had happened to him.
As the storm raged on, a man - who claimed to be a firefighter from Detroit - turned up at the firehouse to seek refuge after allegedly suffering car trouble. However, Firefighter Brian "Otis" Zvonecek (Yuri Sardarov) grew suspicious of him as he continued to not get his story straight.
After much contemplation, Firefighter Brian "Otis" Zvonecek realized that the man was not a firefighter at all. Instead, he was after the young child who Captain Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) had found hiding behind the fire truck.
It turned out that the man had murdered the young child's neighbor. The latter had seen the gruesome murder and he stowed away on the fire truck at the call in the area.
Now, there is another crisis for the members of Firehouse 51 to get through as the spoilers and predictions for Chicago Fire Season 7 Episode 20 revealed that the team is doing everything they can to investigate an arson at a hair salon.
"Lieutenant Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Battalion Chief Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker) search to uncover whether arson was the cause of a fire at a hair salon," the official synopsis of Chicago Fire Season 7 Episode 20 reads (via Carter Matt) "Firefighter Randall "Mouch" McHolland (Christian Stolte), Lieutenant Christopher Herrmann (David Eigenberg), Firefighter Brian "Otis" Zvonecek and Firefighter Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) make a startling discovery in tracking down the missing piercing nozzle from Engine 27," it added.
